Dalkey Writers’ Workshop launched their new Anthology ‘CIRCLE TIME’ in The Queens, Dalkey, on Thursday, 17th November 2011.
This is their third anthology and follows on from the success of their previous publications. The new book, edited by Paul Perry, contains a mix of poetry and prose and includes a foreword from none other than Joseph O’Connor.
Dalkey Players present Hugh Leonard’s “Pizzazz”, consisting of 3 short plays: “Roman Fever”; “View from the Obelisk” and “Pizzazz”; with link pieces entitled “I Ask You!” written by local author, and DWW member, David Butler.

Two of our members, Alma Brayden and Phil Lynch, will have work included in Census 3, the latest anthology from The Seven Towers Agency which is to be launched at the Irish Writers’ Centre in Dublin on Wednesday 22 February. 
A member of our workshop, Phil Lynch, was the featured poet on the “Rhyme & Reason” programme broadcast on Dublin South FM on Friday 10 February. 
Dalkey Writer member, Dave Butler, appears in the female version of the “The Odd Couple” – 23rd-26th November in Dalkey Town Hall. Presented by Dalkey Players.
DWW members Dave Butler and Billy Hutchinson will be appearing in a Square One production of The Great Gatsby. Showing in The Mermaid Theatre, Bray, from 11th to 15th October 2011.
